1. Our Satisfaction Commitment

At Thryxellaz, we take great pride in the quality of our photo albums and are committed to ensuring your satisfaction. Each album is crafted with care using premium materials and undergoes thorough quality inspection before shipping.

We understand that photo albums are deeply personal items that hold your cherished memories. That is why we work diligently to ensure every album meets our high standards and your expectations.

However, we also understand that issues can sometimes arise. This Return Policy outlines our procedures for handling returns, refunds, and exchanges.

2. Custom Products and Returns

2.1 Nature of Custom Products

Please note that all photo albums created by Thryxellaz are custom-made products. Each album is uniquely designed using your personal photographs and cannot be resold or returned in the traditional sense.

Because of the custom nature of our products, we cannot accept returns simply due to change of mind, buyer's remorse, or ordering errors on your part (such as incorrect photo selection or spelling mistakes that you approved during the proof stage).

2.2 The Importance of Proof Approval

Before any album goes into production, you will receive a digital proof for your review and approval. This proof allows you to verify that the design, layout, photo selection, and any text elements are correct.

We strongly encourage you to review your proof carefully, as this is when any changes should be made. Once you approve the proof and production begins, changes cannot be made. Issues that were visible in the approved proof will not be eligible for refunds or reprints.

3. Eligible Returns and Refunds

We will gladly provide a refund, reprint, or exchange in the following circumstances:

3.1 Manufacturing Defects

If your album arrives with a manufacturing defect that makes it unacceptable, we will provide a free reprint or full refund. Manufacturing defects include:

  • Physical damage to the album structure (broken binding, damaged cover)
  • Significant printing errors such as severe color shifts, missing pages, or print defects
  • Incorrect binding or assembly
  • Pages stuck together or damaged during production

3.2 Shipping Damage

If your album arrives damaged due to shipping, please contact us within 7 days of receipt. We will work with the shipping carrier to file a claim and provide you with a replacement album at no additional cost.

To process shipping damage claims, we may request photographs of the damaged item and packaging. Please retain all packaging materials until the claim is resolved.

3.3 Our Error

If we made an error during production that was not present in your approved proof (for example, printing an old version of your design instead of the approved version), we will provide a free reprint at no cost to you.

4. Non-Eligible Returns

We cannot offer refunds or reprints for the following:

  • Change of mind or buyer's remorse after order placement
  • Issues that were visible in the approved proof (typos, photo placement, design choices)
  • Color variations that fall within normal print tolerance ranges
  • Photo quality issues due to low-resolution original images
  • Damage caused by the customer after delivery
  • Delayed delivery requests after order completion
  • Albums that have been used or altered

5. How to Request a Return or Refund

5.2 Required Information

When contacting us about a return or refund, please provide:

  • Your order number
  • Description of the issue
  • Clear photographs showing the defect or damage
  • Your preferred resolution (reprint or refund)

5.3 Review Process

Our team will review your request within 3 business days. We may request additional information or photographs to assess the issue. Once we have all necessary information, we will communicate our decision and next steps.

6. Refund Processing

If your refund request is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7-10 business days
  • You may be required to return the defective album at our expense before the refund is processed
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable except in cases of our error or shipping damage

Please note that depending on your financial institution, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement.

7. Exchanges and Reprints

If you prefer an exchange or reprint instead of a refund:

  • We will produce a corrected album as quickly as possible, typically within 2-3 weeks
  • Expedited production may be available on a case-by-case basis
  • We will ship the replacement album at no additional cost using the same shipping method as your original order

8. Order Cancellations

8.1 Before Production

If you need to cancel your order before production has begun, please contact us immediately. We may be able to provide a full refund if no work has started on your album.

8.2 During Production

Once album production has begun, cancellation may not be possible, or a partial refund may be offered depending on how far along the production process is. Design work that has been completed is non-refundable.

8.3 After Completion

Completed albums cannot be cancelled. If you no longer want the album, you may refuse delivery, but no refund will be provided for completed custom products.

9. International Orders

For international customers, please note:

  • Return shipping costs for international orders are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error
  • Customs duties and taxes are non-refundable
  • International return processing may take longer due to shipping times
